Must read - Getting started. (REVISED)

Welcome to Rare Candy.

Just a few rules / regulations before you get started here.

Rare Candy is a small 3DS Pokemon community for exchanging friend codes to battle competitively and fairly, and trade Pokemon.

This means, RC is not a forum for the use of Pokemon battle simulators, and is for 3DS X,Y, OR,AS only.

This community was created because of the lack of organization in the online free battles in the 3DS games.
When playing online free battles, a 3 Pokemon limit is issued, and is flooded with over-powered special Pokemon users.
This community encourages fair 6v6 battles, using "ou", ""uu", "ru" or "nu" tiers.
However, if using special Pokemon is for you, there will be sections for over powered special Pokemon use. (Legendary Pokemon.)
This isn't meant to be strict against the use of Legendary Pokemon, but to allow competitive players to find a group of friends to battle often, within their own guidelines.

Using the "Battle" section of the forum, you may post a topic of what kind of battles you are looking for. You have the ability to ask for battles based on your own guidelines. (tier, items, etc.)

EX: One member asks for a battle allowing a team of 6 Rayquazas. Another member asks for battles including only "RU" Pokemon with NO items. Set your own rules!

As the moderator, I reserve the right to ban any Pokemon, special or not, from RareCandy exclusive competitive play / contests / tournaments that I host. Banned Pokemon will be posted. This does NOT mean that Pokemon will be banned from your own gameplay.

Simple rules for this forum:
1.Language, Pokemon is for kids and there should be respect. Please keep strong language off the forums/TS/Skype.
2.If there is an issue, or an abusive player/member; report it to a moderator.
3.Legendary use is prohibited in RareCandy tournament / contest play.
4.Failure to abide by site regulation in competitive tournament or contest play will result in a ban.
5. Please keep any profanity or use of inappropriate images or conversation off the forums. Failure to do so will result in a permanent ban.
6. Please read the "TeamSpeak / Skype Rules" before using any of our chat rooms.

This site is intended to make finding friends and players of the 3DS versions of Pokemon easier. In no way does this affiliate with other Pokemon forums or organizations.
This forum will be entirely community based, if you have ideas for contests or would like to set up your own tournament, there will be a place to do so.  

Please use the introduction section upon signing up, and make sure to add me, and other members as a friend.
Place your 3DS friend code in your forum signature or introduction to make things easy for everyone.
